Hi,

how do i get the title of my entry into the title tag of my page? I mean when I post a piece with the title ‘Seo stuff’ I want the comment entry page to have this title. Thanks for any feedback,

Cheers,

Bernard

We get so few visitors to the pMachine side of things that I always check to see if you’re really using pMachine… or EE?

Which one?

You can do this:

Replace your <title></title> with:

<?php weblog_headlines_alt("all","3"); ?>

And change weblog_headlines_alt to have:

<title>Comment on % % title % %</title>

Example here: Comment on Entry test

BTW: It’s a lot easier with EECore. smile

Remove the spacing between the % stuffl

Hi,

i get an error message on the comment page:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<’ in /home.2/carguide/www/database/auto_gids_more.php on line 6

I replaced the title tag by:

<?php <title>% % title % %</title>(“news_nl”,“3”); ?>

without the space inbetween the % as you said.

<head>

<?php weblog_headlines_alt("all","3"); ?>

Is what I’m using.

I did that just now and I get the title BUT the title tag always stays the same for every article comment then as it uses the most recent one. Any way to make sure that it gets the title of each individual entry ?

It makes that the headlines list disappears when used on the site.

I found the solution following your reasoning:

I replaced the title tag by <?php weblog_entry_alt1($id); ?>

and then put <title>% % title % %</title> (without the spaces) in the field for Weblog - Individual Entry - Alt 1

Now it works perfectly. Thanks anyhow, you led me to this.

Good solution! I figured out a way to do it using PHP, but what you have works.
