How do I reuse a layout?

Does anyone know how to have only the center column change but have to rest stay the same (3 column layout).  I would like to not have to completely paste in all of the HTML for every page so it’s not cluttered for editing.  I know I could just create a new weblog for each page, but I don’t want it separated by each post, just a continuous sheet (like a links page).
thanks

If the side columns are “static” content then you could put them into pBlocks and then place the pBlock on your page where you want the content to appear.  That way you only change the pBlock and the change is reflected everywhere.

You could do the same thing by using separate .php pages and then using a standard PHP “include” to pull that content in.  This would also allow you to have pM Tags in the sidebar column contents.
