After Moving to another Server the Umlauts in the Comments are gone

Hello, something strange happened after moving my (german language) Blog to a different Server: When someone comments a post, the umlauts (ÄÖÜ äöü) and special german charachters (like ß) are displayed as strange letters (ÄÖÜ äöü ß). In my postings though there aren’t any problems with umlauts at all.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
