Hi

When installing pMachine Pro 2.4.1 the installation stop at STEP 2 ie.

> Good.  A connection to your server has been established....  <

Installation just halt - nothing going on.

I have checked my password, usernames - and they are all correct.

Anybody who can help solve this ?

I had this problem as well.. while searching for an answer to my latest problem I came across yours.  How I got around it is this:

In the url in the address bar, you will notice that the url ends in 2, meaning page 2

Change that to 3 to go to page 3.  All worked well for me after that.  I just cant log in now

*** EDIT *** I know now why this a problem.  It did not create the SQL database.  So we are both looking for resolution to this problem now.

I got it now.  You (and me too) did not create the SQL database before running the install script.

Page 2 should look like this when it is successful:

Good.  A connection to your server has been established....

Good.  The database specified in your config file is valid....

Hope this helps.  I do not recall the install manual telling me to create the DB first.  makes sense now that I think about it, just had me scratching my head for few mins.
