hi,

i built up two blogs, one of them for members only.

i set the general membership preferences at “require account activation” to “manual activation by an administrator”.

after registrating a test account i receive the message (as expected) “A site administrator will activate your account and notify you when it is ready for use.”

but if i try to login i still receive the ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS by email screen—and i am / members that are not yet activated by the admin are still able to activate their accounts by email.

what is going wrong?

Unable to duplicate problem in my tests, but it sounds like you simply are looking at the activation screen again or reloading the page.
