Is step 2 of the install-process supposed to be like this?

After I open the install.php file through my browser this is the line that pops up at step 2:

“Good.  A connection to your server has been established…. “

But there’s no ‘next page’ link underneath

If I continue the process manually (replacing the number 2 with the number 3 in the address) then everything seems to be going just fine. Though when I try to log on to pmachine after finishing all the installation steps and deleting install.php then the username and password that I entered during the installation-process don’t work.

Anyone any idea what’s going wrong here?
Thanks for your replies.

Grtz,

Martijn

PS The website is www.bizzy.nl

Lisa, do you have any idea what the cause might be of not being able to log on to pMachine?
It would be great if you could give me some feedback.

Thanks

Martijn

Greetings, Martin,

My focus is ExpressionEngine, and I am unable to help with this particular problem.  I did note that if you do an advanced search in the pMachine Installations forum, for “page 2” - there are some threads that may be of assistance. =)

Have you created the MySQL database before installing it?

I would also try checking to see if your firewall is blocking it, it happens all the time to me in IE smile, if you continue to have problems also try adding a P3P policy smile

I installed the database before running the install.php file.

The firewall won’t be a problem.
I have another website running on pMachine.
Both are hosted by the same company.
The other website runs perfectly.
