I looked for answers here on forum and also on pMachine KnowledgeBlog, but nothing helps…

In topic http://www.pmachine.com/knowledgeblog/topic.php?id=34_0_1_0_C I found a solution that doesnt work for me. Nevertheless, I have made these changes in config.php file:

$debug = 1;
$redirect_method = 1;
$cookie_domain = “.cerstve.info”;

My site is www.cerstve.info/opava
my hosting works on these technologies:
Kernel 2.6.6
OpenSSL 0.9.7d
Apache 2.0.49
PHP 4.3.6
Tomcat 5.0.25
Zend Optimizer 2.5.1
Turck MMCache 2.4.6
MySQL 4.0.20
Postgres 7.4.2
FireBird 1.5
OpenWebMail 2.32
SpamAssassin 2.63
AwStats 6.1
PhpMyAdmin 2.5.6
PhpPgAdmin 3.3.1
IbWebAdmin 0.95

Can anyone help me please? I am realy new in this…

Nearly at most cases when I try to log in to admin control panel, blank screen appears. Also the same in most of cases in navigation in control panel. Sometimes help reloading, but on many times on fifth or tenth try. Its realy boring and disgusting.

I tryied all these things:

$debug = 1;
$redirect_method = 1;
$cookie_domain = “.cerstve.info”;

Clear cache, reinstall pMachine, move it to another directory, use other MYSQL, everything. Read most of this forum also.

I also asked my webhosting administrator. Only one thing is changed:

My hosting does not run on PHP 4.3.6 but on version of PHP 5. In fact, I tryied to install on other hosting with PHP 4.3.6 and THERE WAS NOT MY BLANK SCREEN PROBLEM!!! So it is may be in PHP 5. But it is strange! Does realy pMachine dont work on PHP 5?

Can anyone help? I am trying to communicate with hosting administrator to fing some error, but it looks, everything works fine on hosting…

Can anyone help? Do you think that you can find the solution Chris?

Thanks for effort

PHP 5 isn’t even a full, official release yet.  They’re only doing “release candidates”.  Aside from that, I don’t know much about PHP 5 and I’m not aware of any serious testing being done against it.

My guess as to why it doesn’t work would be changes in default configuration between PHP 4.x and 5. [shrug]
