Greetings…

I am visualising a way to manage my site using multiple blogs.  The homeblog will have a set of categories which will relate to a series of other blogs.  I am hoping to find a way to have only two template groups - one for the HomePage, and one for the more detailed information in each category.

By naming my second tier blogs using the categories from the HomeBlog, I would like to set the blogname in the tag

{assign_variable:master_weblog_name="blogName"}

using something like {segment_3} - which I could hard link to the categoryName from my homeBlog.

I’ve tried:

{assign_variable:master_weblog_name="{segment_3}"} but it doesn’t work..

Is it indeed possible to dynamically assign this variable?

Any tips are greatly appreciated..
