Hey, here’s a site-moving question that may be easy to answer, but I feel I should ask it so I get it right the first time, as launch date is just a couple days away.

Basically our database “abc” is hosted on a different server and I don’t need to rename it or change its location. If I want to simply move the contents of the site (and pM controls) from

http://www.abchost.com/~abcbeta

to

http://www.abchost.com/~abc

what’s the best order to do things in?

If you don’t need to move the database then you can skip the steps related to backing up and restoring that.  (Of course, I’d still suggest making sure you have a backup of the database.)
