Changing the length of RSS feed items

How is it possible to change the length of the RSS news item? I would like to shorten the current output. Not the count, but an item’s length (word or letter count).

You will have to modify the script, since the string length of the RSS items content is limited to 500.  Open up rss.cp.php and find the following around line 230:

if (strlen($body) >500)
{
     $body = substr("$body", 0, 500);


Change the 500’s to the maximum string length that you desire.
