Hi, I would like to display the

<?php archive_month_names(“weblog”); ?>  tag with a drop down menue instead of the standard list.  How can I do this?

Thanks, Pat smile

I did take a look at this link and found it helpful, thanks.  I do however, have another question in this area.

I’m still working on this site and haven’t yet pointed the weblog to the index page, but if you take a look at my archive drop down, it’s not working for me:  http://www.provaday.com/home.php

I wanted to have a drop down menu to save space.  How do I get it to link the the proper month and year?

Also, I want to customize the archive pages, but since utilized the archives before in pMachine, I’m not sure what I need to do.  Any ideas or examples to point me to on how to make this area more helpful to viewers of the site searching?

Thanks, Pat smile

A few things:

1. In the <form> tag, try changing method=“POST” to method=“GET”.

2. You have some “<br />” tags after each of your <option> tags in the form.  Those <br /> tags aren’t necessary and are actually invalid.

3. You currently have the form pointed to “archivesum.php”.  The form needs to point to a page that contains the “weblog_entries” or “archive_entries” pM Tag on it.
