Hello. I’m using pmachine mainly for the forum until EE gets its forum module and want to know is there a way I can add an extra link to the members message after they login?

I want to add a link directly to the forums so the user doesn’t have to go back to the home page before getting to the forums again from there. Even better would be if the user could return directly to the page that they clicked the ‘login’ link on.

I’ve done a quick search of the forums and couldn’t find anything handy so sorry if such a thread exists.

BTW. any sight of the EE module?

Open pm/language/english/messages.php.  In there you’ll see a couple of variables for the homelink and backlink.  You can add an additional link there if you want or simply replace one of the existing ones.

Otherwise, you could hardcode a link in members/messages.php

Try this new Knowledge-Blog entry.  I use that technique on one of the sites I help run.
