Just upgraded to 2.4. Didn’t have any glitches that I can recall during the installation, but now when I try to view my Cache files I get a blank window. Doesn’t even show new ones or any for any of my user groups.

What do you mean by “view cache files”?  I’m a little unclear by your use of the terminology since cache files are not typically viewed directly.  Do you meant that one of your pages is blank?  Typically a blank page of your site means that the path to your backend files in you path.php file is not correct.  Did you overwrite that file when you upgraded?  You shouldn’t have needed to touch that file.
