I’ve inputted the correct info into the setup wizard and when I click the button to install Expression Engine, I get an error telling me it’s unable to write the config file.  I know I’m missing something really stupid, but it’s killing me.  Any ideas as to what it could be?

First, is this a question about ExpressionEngine or pMachine?  You’ve posted this in the pMachine forum.

Regardless, the answer is that you need to ensure that you have the correct permissions set as indicated in the installation instructions.  Certain files as well as certain directories need to have specific permissions set.
