I’ve got a couple of questions. I’m a bit unsure as to if there is pmcode to show the calendar on the pmachine free version, that and the search feature. Should I just put a link to the /search/index.php page? or is there pmcode already there for use?

See the Calendars section of the Tag Library.  The event calendar is only available in pMachine Pro.  I think the birthday calendar is available in pM Free.

If you want to make a link to your search page you can just make a regular HTML link like you suggested.

Hello, newby here, just installed pMachine free and was disappointed that there wasn’t an Event Calendar, since I’d been planning to try it out as a combination blog and school class coordinator with discussions of homework etc. both past and future.
So, ... I just wanted to confirm: I need to purchase a pMachine pro license to get an event calendar, irght?
My apologies if this question is already covered elsewhere. Sorry I couldn’t find a clear answer on my own.
