things are missing after upgrading from 2.3 to 2.4

upgraded as per instructions and everything appeared to have went great untill i went to log in the text was missing on the login page

i was able to log in and noticed the left menu is missing and some text is missing

on my page the month for the archives are missing

It sounds like you didn’t get all the language files uploaded.  Re-upload the pm/language/ directory to your server.

I am having similar problems and uploading the language folders again did not solve this problem I’m afraid.

If the problem you’re having is exactly the same (missing text for some of the things in the Control Panel) then it’s definitely a Language Pack issue.  Are you using the “english” Language Pack that comes with pM?  Make sure you get aa fresh download of the install files from this site and use those to upload the pm/language/english/ directory.

hello,

I have the same issue but it is iamges and the manual. I relaoded both folders but only the images came through.  Is there a know issue with the manual? I get the followign message : The pMachine manual can not be found on this server.
