Multiple Tell a Friend pages?

Ok this may sound strange but here goes…

We are a newspaper and are currently using the Tell a Friend function and it works fine.

We would like to add a link called “Email us Your Comments” for a particular story.  I like the “Tell a Friend” function because it can include the link/text to the story so our copy editors won’t get confused.  Readers can send their comments and we read over them and print acceptable ones in our paper.

Of course the send to address would need to be filled in with our email address..

is this possible?  or is there a better way that I’m not grasping??

thanks,
Doug

The easy way to do this would be to make the ‘to’ form field a hidden form field and have it auto-filled with your email address in the template, and then the rest of your fields can be the same so the user could fill them out and send the email.  The only downside to this approach is that your email address will be visible in the HTML making it a possible Spammer target.  Is that a big enough concern that this would not work?

Oh, wait, this is for pMachine Free….ignore everything I said.  It was for ExpressionEngine.  The same idea would have worked, except there is only one template for the Tell-a-Friend feature in pMachine Free/Pro.  I think the only way you could do this is with a hack to the backend file.
