I use this tag: <?php most_commented_entries("all","10","yes","weblog"); ?>
Good with 2.3, but don’t work with new 2.4.

I have this error message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /xxx/xxx/mysite/pm/lib/stats.fns.php on line 204

Have you applied the bug fix releases that have been made over the last couple of days?

Yes, I’ve downloaded last version. Problem it’s with hypothetical new version. But, when I’m uploading I checked size of file changed (same size). Also If u’ve published build 004, on <a href="https://secure.pmachine.com/download.php?ACT=agreement&id=pmachine24">direct link from pmachine pro homepage</a> says revised on 15 jannuary! Not 18!

And If I go from <a href="https://secure.pmachine.com/download.php">main download page</a> link says build 002!

So, I’ve downloaded new version also in the morning, but I don’t know If it’s real 004 build!

I also have the same bug:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/pmh3064/public_html/pm/lib/stats.fns.php on line 204

I’m also using the latest available pm-pro release: Build ID:  Pro2.4.004
dated 18 jan

I just looked at the downloadable files and this bug is definitely fixed in them.  Could you download the files again and replace stats.fns.php, please?

Paul,

Thank you, everything is working now. I must have made a mistake somewhere (sorry for that).

regards,
Michel

I had a similar error with most_read_entries, which was fixed by downloading the Jan 18 build and updating the files.

However, this created a new problem - now when I click on one of the “most read” links (which are showing their view counts appropriately), I get zero content.

The entry id appended to the URLs, is “id=P1”, “id=P2” and similar, as opposed to the usual “id=3_0_1_0_C” etc, which displays the page as it should.

Oh, BTW, the url also for some reason points to the index.php (my replacement for weblog.php), rather than the comments.php file.

Replacing index.php with comments.php in the address bar doesn’t help any though.  Everything else regarding page navigation is working as it should, so I don’t think it’s my prefs.

Could you give us the exact tag you are using and perhaps a URL?

Sure, it’s only in demo mode at present - the url is:

http://blog.neeva.org

The code I’m using is:

<?php most_read_entries("all","10","yes","weblog"); ?>

Well, right off the bat, the “weblog” should be “comments” (or blank, “") if you want to point to the comments page.

Aaargh, my apologies - I’m stupid.  I think I got confused with other tags where “weblog” is the database.

Thanks very much for looking and helping though.  I just fixed it up and now it’s working like a charm.
