After setting all the correct prefernces and what not, I am still unable to upload an image when I try to make a news post. I already have it pointing at the correct folder, with the correct chmod settings, and it says the upload couldn’t happen, and/or, the folder needs to be chmoded, yet it already is…

Are you positive that your Host/server allows files to be uploaded by PHP?  It’s rare, but occasionally a server will now allow you to upload files like that.

Either access for your CP or a snapshot of your File Upload Preferences or your first few File Upload preference (server and relative path) written out.

Hi there, any ideas yet about this problem? I upgraded just into pMachine 1.4 Pro and I am not able to send any pictures.

Error shows like this:  http://www.macrules.de/buzz/pmachine24uploaderror.jpg

I have checked all permissions and found no error.

Well, I hope you are talking about pMachine 2.4….

This problem is 9 out of 10 times an incorrect preference problem.  If you want to send me an email with user/pass info for your CP I can see if I can discover the problem.
