I am getting the following error message on my site: “Parse error: parse error in /Library/WebServer/Documents/blog/pm/lib/weblog.fns.php on line 2468”  This is the site.

The error started after I uploaded all the new files from the new distribution (Pro2.3.029) for today’s bug fix/feature add. Help, please?

I’ve got the solutions for this, after searching thru the bugs… well, it’s a little or i can say a very small bugs

go to line 2468 and you found this

{
  $qry .= “ ORDER BY t_stamp LIMIT 0, $limit”
  }

replace with

{
  $qry .= “ ORDER BY t_stamp LIMIT 0, $limit”; <—- this is what causing the error
  }

—————-
so i think a little ; made a big difference eh… Geezzzz

Good find larrya121!

Thanks so much for the quick fix.

Poor Paul… he works so hard for us, and he can’t ever miss a key-stroke without the whole world knowing about it.

;~)

Whoops.  I will go fix that in the distribution.  You know, I hear Ruby does not require semicolons…

Apart from the problem (fixed thanks to larrya121), I have to say I’m really pleased with this update. It also fixed some longstanding problems I had with the site emailing posting notifications and with general slowness in posting comments. Much speedier now. Thanks Paul.
