Hello, newbie here.

I just set up pMachine on my website through Fantastico. I previously had a blog that I set up manually using <a href="http://s9y.org">Serendipity</a> blog software, and would like to import my old serendipity posts to my new pMachine blog, if at all possible.

I’ve heard there’s a relatively easy way to do this, something to do with RSS files. I have my old Serendipity RSS, but I can’t figure out where to put it in my new pMachine folders.

If anyone can think of another way, I’ll try that too. I’d just really hate to see these posts disappear.

pMachine PRO the product is no longer being updated.  There is a way to use RSS feeds to update an EE (different solution) database. You’d have to work with EECore though.

Thanks for the info. The old blog was only a few months old, so I think I’m just going to start over this time.
