Hello folks,

I’m setting up the PMachine to use as an Upcoming Events section on a website and I figured with the Calendar option it would be simple. However, I’ve run into some problems with trying to ge this done.

First off, I recognized that whenever you add an entry it shows up on the mini-calendar automatically. So I figured that if I set an entry at a date in the future that it should show up on the mini-calendar for viewers to see. This was not the case. I then read in the help section that entries set in the future will only appear on the date they are set to.

My question is this: Is there any way to turn that function off so that entries set in the future will show in the present?

ie. today is the 23rd of January. If I set something for the 1s of February can I set the blog to allow it to be seen?

Second question is this: Is there a way to just access the calendar and apply events through it?

The pMachine PRO product line is no longer being updated. That’s one reason why you aren’t getting any responses.

You’d have to make PHP code changes in order for future events to show in a weblog. I did it back in 2002 on one of my sites, but I don’t have that code handy.

If you use EECore, you can do this very easily.
