Hi,

I don’t want to put any registration form or login/logout for the members who are going to comment. Rather I want to put a name, email and comments fields in the comments form. What I will do ?

General Preferences > Member Preferences > Member registration: comments? = No.
General Preferences > Member Preferences > Require email for non-registered posting? = Yes.

Edit Templates > (choose weblog) >  Comment Form Templates > Comment Form - No Registration Required (top template).  Should have a name and email field there by default.

To avoid comment span I’d recommend enabling CAPTCHA’s for comments:

General Preferences > CAPTCHA Preferences > Enable Captcha for Comments = Yes.

After submitting, no captcha value is showing up on the comment form, but it is coming in a separate page.

Do you have the following code in your comment form template?

{if captcha} Submit the word you see below:<br /> %%captcha%% <br /> <input type="text" name="captcha" value="" size="20" maxlength="20" style="width:140px;" /> {/if}

You should have to enter the CAPTCHA value before submitting the comment.
