I searched around and can’t find what I know is probably a simple answer.

I have a list of categories that I am displaying in a list.  (using the weblog_categories() tag)
How can I sort them?  I want to control which ones show up first.
Any help here?

There is no built-in/native way to accomplish that.  To change the order of display you would have to hack the backend files.

I have diferent problem,  How can I show how many total entries each category have?

In my weblog.php page I have,

<?php weblog_categories($id,“weblog”,“text”); ?>

AFAIK, the answer is the same—you’d have to hack the backend files to add the counting function.
