Hello. I’m a new user of pMachine, and I was wondering if there was a hack to “plug” the commentors who commented on the previous post? I have a script like this posted at my old site (Mirkwood Wench) but I’m using MovableType. I’m hoping that pMachine has a similar hack or plugin. :)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the delay in answering your post.

What do you mean about plugging the commenters? How about an exact link to look at?

Well, for MT I had a plugin that would take all the commenters from the previous entry and link their sites in the newer entry, so you didn’t have to manually plug every commenter on your own.

It’s just like on my blog, at the bottom of every entry. It automatically plugs the last entrys commenters.

This is the script that I was using for MT. Is there something similar for pMachine?

You mean the text that says:

Thanks: Pia and Robbay~!*

Where you have a list of unique usernames for that particular entry.

No, I haven’t seen anything like that.

You’d have to build a MySQL search to get that.

It’s been over a year since I did any programming with pMachine.

I’d be more likely to create something like this for EE initially.

Damn. I know next to nothing about MySQL, so creating my own script is out of the question… That is a crucial feature, I guess I’ll just have to install MT again. Or Wordpress.

Thanks anyways though! smile
