I’m having a guestbook weblog that uses the comment feature to create entries. This worked for years almost - now all the sudden I’m getting entries that are created without human interaction I guess - how can I prevent this?

Require user registration or captchas.

don’t see any weblog settings that would allow me to require registration before posting - am I missing something?

General Preferences => Member registration: comments? and Require account activation?

Those two features enabled should force user interaction.  Have you “Enable Captcha for Comments”?  That should do it as well.

hi i still dont seem to get it, is there anyway to prevent automated comments. i have enabled the ” manual activatio by administrator” howver i dont seem to prevenet the automated entry of comments, here is my code, please help
